Special Workshop ifor Widowed Parents

Have you lost a spouse/co-parent and are trying to make sense of your grief? Are you struggling with your role as the sole parent?

Please join us for a very special workshop to address the unique challenges facing widowed parents.

Date: Monday, April 22, 2019 Time: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: GCW Clubhouse 80 Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY

Dr. Justin Yopp and Dr. Donald Rosenstein, authors of The Group: Seven Widowed Fathers Reimagine Life and co-founders of “The Widowed Parent Project” (www.widowedparent.org), will share their experience in supporting widowed fathers and mothers.

In this informative workshop, Dr. Yopp and Dr. Rosenstein will describe strategies for coping with grief through the compelling narratives of seven widowers and will reveal important strategies for coping with any kind of loss.

Children of attendees are invited to participate in a concurrent social program facilitated by Gilda’s Club Westchester’s Children, Teens and Families Manager.
